Walking In Faith

Yoyo

Yoyo

Have you ever walked in faith? Gone somewhere, made a career move, because you were called to go? I have walked that walk too. The most recent being this week.

A non-profit who’s focused on bringing clean running #water & sanitation to remote villages that don’t have access to it, asked if I would join them on a trip to experience what they do. I was only given dates, flights to book, & asked to live in the moment. The faith walk turned into a #leadership lesson taught by Yoyo. A local villager, he led the mountain climb to share how clean water is brought to his village.

Yoyo learned that there was a group helping communities access clean water & leveraged his network to get introduced, traveling on horseback to meet them. He negotiated, got commitments & embraced the accountability he & his community would have in this collaboration. Aware of others & his circumstances, Yoyo's #purpose was to help his community. He didn’t let limiting beliefs stand in his way, or allow overwhelm to settle in. He focused on his purpose and led the way. He shared this story as we broke bread with his family.

This faith walk reinforced why I am creating #HYDRO and partnering with #BLUEMissions, the non-profit helping all of these communities. HYDRO details coming soon. #theleaderslighthouse
